Motor Control and Learning
WHO WE ARE
Our researcher team propose the study of the human movement control, and the changes of this control as the result of learning processes, training and the maturation of the systems. It addresses a fundamental behavioral perspective, supported by social and biological concepts.
The main aim of the research group is to analyze the features of the human movement coordination and the factors which determine the motor control and learning.
The specific aims are:
- Analysis of motor variability and its relationship between motor learning and performance.
- Physical activity, inclusive physical education and evidenced-based classification in Paralympic sports.
- Visual behavior and reaction response: perceptive training to improve anticipation in sport.
- Strength training programs and its interference with technique training in sports.
